Description

Pilytix brings Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) to sales teams so they can be more effective and close more deals, faster. We use best-in-class tools to quickly deliver data-driven insights to all of our clients. Data Scientists will assist in model building and apply their machine learning and statistical knowledge to generate insights from our client's data.


Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, explore and wrangle client datasets using R, Python and SQL
  • Train, evaluate and deploy customized Bayesian models in R
  • Build and maintain internal tools to automate data science workflow
  • Work collaboratively with development team to add new data-driven features to our software-as-a-service product
  • Work with clients to ensure our product delivers value to their users
  • Participate in agile / Kanban processes on a daily basis
  • Comply with change management policies and code reviews to ensure data integrity and system stability

Requirements

  • BS/MS in a STEM field and 1+ years of industry experience working with data
  • Exceptional quantitative analytical skills and understanding of data science / machine learning methodologies
  • 2+ years experience with R (Tidyverse preferred)
  • 1+ years experience with SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
  • 1+ years experience with Python (Python 3 preferred)
  • Exceptional ability to understand and discuss highly quantitative subjects
  • Experience using Git or other DVCS
  • Knowledge of agile / Kanban processes
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and highly self-motivated


Job is based in Austin TX, but extraordinarily qualified remote candidates (willing to travel to Austin semi-regularly) may apply.
